Right this very moment I couldn’t be happier! I am eating take away Italian Cream Cheese wedding cake for dinner (TWO slices…thank you Vanessa!…yum!) and reading a really sweet card from Vanessa and Atiq that reads ‘ Melissa, you have a gift that we were lucky to find. Thank you for your innate creativity that will bring forever joy to our home’. Awwwww….*blush*
I also have to share one of her first emails with you all as it is so cute and you can see from the photoshoot that everything she planned worked out perfectly!
‘Atiq and I met in Arvada at D-Note salsa dancing. We said we would be meet up for Tango classes. Four years later we still haven’t had a lesson! We even tried last week and got the date wrong. Poop. We will soon, though, our honeymoon is going to be in Argentina. Atiq is from Pakistan and I am from Utah. We moved here for work. I am a flight attendant/ ceramicist and Atiq is a computer guy/ animal lover. We couldn’t be more opposite, but we are the better for it.
We have decided to marry ourselves by exchanging our own personal vows. I haven’t decided where would be most romantic, but I have in mind Cheeseman Park’s roman columns. I use to live around there. Then I thought we could have a picnic with a mini-wedding cake and champagne. I do ceramics and I made the wedding cake topper! It is in the kiln now, so excited. Then in some way creative I wanted to be carried away in something….a horse drawn carriage maybe.’

What an amazing day I had yesterday at Piney River Ranch. I really had no idea how stupidly beautiful it would be out there as their website doesn’t do the area justice. Such a stunning place to get married. Here’s a sneak peek of Katy and Randys wedding from yesterday…if you remember these two beautiful beings from their engagement shoot you just know that their wedding was nothing short of gorgeous!! So busy right now but there will be more eye candy to come soon…..
